Just a mock, can’t wait to screen this bad boy for real.

Working proof of the seven deer print. Really wanted to try it out on some craft colored paper and it turned out pretty well. Mixed some gold in with the opaque black but it did the opposite of what I wanted and sort of neutered the intensity of the black and flattened it all out. So happy to finally be printing again, avalanche of work coming soon doggies!
Colorway mocks for this 88 Snakes print project I’m concocting. Can’t wait to screen a million of these.
The black is a 50/50 mix of gloss black and gold so it shimmers when a light passes over.
Here’s a trial proof four color screen print of the Widowspeak tour design. Had a hell of a time trying to get good prints of this guy, shit gets difficult once the radiators turn on in the print shop and ink starts drying twice as fast.
Widowspeak Shirt Design
One of a billion different colorways I could go with. Blue and yellow ain’t pushing any envelopes but I thought I’d save your eyes from all the fuschia/gamboge/celadon/amaranth combos I was teasing around with.
The actual shirt will just be B&W (snuck in the halftone for er mood).
About the most valuable thing screen printing has taught me is to just go wild when it comes to color. I know this isn’t the best example, but on other projects (like the french tut dog) whatever initial color scheme I had going was thrown out the window once I had a wall of ink at my disposal.
